Fabric requirements:
Foreground: 30-35 fat quarters in a range of colours. The cover quilt incorporates 35 different solid colour fabrics. This is also a great quilt for prints and scraps.
Background: 8 1/2 yd (7.8 m) for generous cutting as specified in the cutting chart. Less background fabric is needed it you have experience with foundation paper piecing and are comfortable with smaller cut sizes.
Backing: 3 1/2 yd (3.2 m).
Binding: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).
Sizing: 54" x 54" (137 cm x 137 cm), easily modified.
Notions: Thin legal size copy or foundation paper and a printer/copier for making copies of the templates, sewing machine with adjustable stitch length, rotary cutter, rulers, cutting mat, iron/ironing surface or pressing tool, 80 wt thread, seam ripper.
Pattern includes: Detailed foundation paper piecing instructions; colouring sheet for layout planning; block templates.
